FAQ

Q: How long does the length of the hair need to be before waxing?

A: For bikini, the size of a small grain of rice is a good measuring point, so do not shave prior to your session. However, if your hair is very long, please trim it to a half inch.

Q:Will it hurt?

A: A beginner to waxing may feel discomfort, however each time you wax, the pain will reduce.

Q: How do I take care of the area waxed in between sessions?

A: We recommend to exfoliate those areas at least once a week to prevent ingrown hairs.

Q: Can I get waxed if I am pregnant?

A: Yes! Our maternity clients love to get waxed as those areas are hard to see! Please consult your physician prior to waxing, as with any service

Q: Will I bleed?

A: Sometimes slight bleeding may occur, especially for first time waxers. As your hair becomes finer and thinner over time, less bleeding occurs. This is normal and nothing to be alarmed about.

Q: How often should I get waxed?

A: We recommend every 4-6 weeks, depending on your hair cycle. We offer a WAX Membership for Brazilians, to help reduce the cost. This includes a membership touch-up prices, for in between waxing if needed. Please see our Packages page for details.

COVID-19 UPDATES

Dear Valued Guests,

We are grateful to be opening again but also want you to know the health and safety of our employees and clients will be at the forefront of our business.

Please note we will not be opening at full capacity so please be patient when scheduling as we are trying our best during these circumstances.

We offer on-line booking to reduce the amount of administrative work it requires to reserve appointments, we encourage you to book via our website or The Mindbody app. Please text us before leaving a voicemail as our admin staff is limited.

Please note we require 48 hours for cancellations. 

We have implemented extra precautions, as well as following both the LLR and CDC regulations required.

All clients will need to sign a consent form answering questions including but not limited to:

Disclosing if they have been in contact with any known persons suspected of having COVID-19 within the last 14 days
Informing us if they are not having any common symptoms of COVID-19 including fever, dry cough, chills, shortness of breath, extreme fatigue, recent loss of smell/taste, muscle pain, recent headaches or sore throat
Note temperature checks will be done upon entry and service can be refused if your temperature is above 100 degrees.
No walk-ins will be permitted. All documentation will be needed prior to each guests reservation.
Please bring in your own mask or we have one available for purchase 
Please do NOT bring your children,friends or additional guests. We can only see clients during this time for your safety and ours. Our goal is to limit the amount of guests into the spa.
Our appointments will be longer in between clients to disinfect to prevent an overlay of guests at one time. Please do NOT arrive at the spa PRIOR to the appointment.
All guests will be asked to sanitize their hands prior to their service.
We will offer contactless admission and checkout.
All touchpoints have been removed (magazines, brochures, testers, etc.)
All retail will need to be taken off the shelf by a staff member, we will not have an open retail area for picking up products.
