Important Questions For Your Lash Waiver

Welcome Lash Artists!

As most of you may know, it is very important for your new clients to fill out a waiver before their service. This waiver will let you know about any allergies, sensitivities, or medical problems they might have. Here are a couple of key questions to include in yours!

How did you hear about us?

It is really good to see where all of your clients are coming from!

Do you have any allergies?

It is very important that your client is not allergic to any of the products you will use in a lash service. Be sure to know the ingredients of the glue in case there is an allergy to the product.

Do you have any asthma or respiratory problems?

This is great to know because your client will be lying on their back for about 2 hours. For some people with these problems, it can be hard to breathe when lying on the back.

Any sensitivities?

Is your client sensitive to scents, tape, glue or light?

Medical Problems?

Any medical problems need to be known even if they do not affect the lashes.

Able to lie on back for 2-3 hours?

A full set of eyelash extensions can take anywhere between 1.5-2 hours of lying on the back. It is very important that your client is comfortable during the service.

Are you pregnant or planning to be?

It is okay to lash pregnant clients. You want to make sure the bed is comfortable for them.

See more on lashing a pregnant client, HERE.

Prior eyelash extension procedure?

This is great to know if your client was happy with their previous set and what style that they prefer.

Contact lenses?

It is okay to lash with contact lenses in although some clients may prefer to remove them.

Eye makeup remover and mascara?

This needs to be all oil free products.

Desired look

Does your client prefer long, short, natural, dramatic, etc..?

Do you grant permission to take photos of the lashes?

You need to have permission to use your pictures of the lashes on social media.

Tips & tricks for taking social media photos, HERE.

We would love to know if any other lash artists have any specific questions they require on their waiver!
