Spray Tan Prep:

Before your spray tan appointment, it's crucial to prepare your skin to ensure a flawless application and long-lasting results. Here's what you need to do:

  1. Take a shower, shave, and lightly exfoliate the day BEFORE your tanning session [exfoliating gloves are the best to use-please do not use any oils]
  2. TIP: If you have dry skin, especially around your knees, elbows, heels, and underarm area, please exfoliate and moisturize heavily with an oil-free moisturizer 2-3 days before your airbrush tanning service. Otherwise, your tan can appear patchy, dark in areas, uneven, and streaky. This is due to improper spray tan preparation.
  3. Remove any lotions or oils before your session as they will create a barrier for the tan
  4. Arrive at your session without make-up, jewelry removed & hair pulled back, deodorant taken off
  5. The tanning solution contains a bronzer, so be advised to wear dark-colored, loose clothing after the session
  6. Sandals or flip-flops are best to wear out {unless it's raining, then wear covered shoes. Flip flops or sandals must be worn inside the airbrush rooms until you step onto the towel for your tan. Otherwise, the bottom of your feet will get stained. This is also listed on the back of our spray tan room doors. We offer “sticky feet,” if preferred ask your Airbrush Technician.
  7. Please have your tanning attire on underneath your clothes & ready to go
  8. Most women airbrush tan topless & in a thong OR a strapless bra & underwear. Men may wear boxers, briefs, or swim wear.
  9. If you are currently breastfeeding, adhesive nursing pads or a strapless bra must be worn. We recommend our Accelerated spray tan when breastfeeding to be able to wash the bronzer off within hours.
  10. We also offer nursing pads for coverage if desired to place over breasts
  11. If your tan has started to break down, please exfoliate thoroughly before your next session. Use lathered exfoliating gloves to take off the leftover tan in a circular motion.
  12. TIP: If your tan is building up, please allow extra days for the residue to be pulled off and fresh skin regenerated. Fresh sprays produce the best results.

Note: We do not spray over sunburned skin or peels. Our experience over the years, along with our manufacturers recommendation is to spray only over healthy, lightly exfoliated skin. Please use the proper SPF while in the sun to prevent this. Thank you for trusting us and our spray tan expertise!

  1. Stay Dry: Avoid activities that may cause you to sweat excessively immediately after your spray tan session. Opt for loose-fitting clothing to prevent streaking.
  2. Moisturize: Hydrate your skin daily with a gentle, hydrating moisturizer to extend the life of your tan and keep your skin looking healthy.
  3. Limit Exfoliation: To avoid premature fading, refrain from exfoliating your skin too frequently. When you do exfoliate, opt for gentle products that won't strip away your tan.

We offer complimentary touchups within 24 hours. Not satisfied with your spray tan? Contact us at 864-404-5170 or e-mail us at guestservices@organictanfaceandbody.com. We want to provide excellent service and allow us the opportunity to fix it if need be.

For best results, we recommend receiving your spray tan 1-2 days before the day you need it the most. Our spray tans typically last 5-10 days, depending on your skin type and aftercare. To extend your tan, please purchase our Tan Extending lotion to keep your glo lasting longer and smoother!
